FROM PIXEL COP
TO GAMING HUB
This domain once belonged to a legendary indie game. Now it’s home to a gaming blog built by people who actually play the games they write about.
BEAT COP: THE GAME THAT STARTED IT ALL
Beat Cop was a pixel art adventure game developed by Pixel Crow, a small indie studio based in Warsaw, Poland, and published by 11 bit studios. The game launched on PC in March 2017, and later made its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
Set in 1980s Brooklyn, New York, the game put you in the shoes of Jack Kelly, a former detective who gets framed for a crime he didn’t commit and demoted to a beat cop. Your job? Write parking tickets, deal with the mafia, navigate corrupt cops, and try to clear your name before time runs out.
The game was known for its retro pixel art style, dark humor, nonlinear storytelling with multiple endings, and its love letter to classic 80s cop shows. It earned a loyal fanbase and solid reviews for its unique blend of time management, narrative choices, and pure nostalgia.
This very domain, beatcopgame.com, served as the official website for the game, where players could find trailers, screenshots, platform links, and news updates from the developers.
A NEW LIFE FOR AN OLD DOMAIN
After the game’s official support wound down, the domain beatcopgame.com eventually expired and became available for registration. We acquired it because we loved what it represented: a genuine passion for gaming, pixel art, and no-nonsense entertainment.
Rather than let this piece of indie gaming history disappear into the void, we decided to give it a second life. We kept the spirit of the original site alive through the design you see here, while building something new: an independent gaming blog that covers the games, gear, and guides that matter to real gamers.
This site is not affiliated with Pixel Crow, 11 bit studios, or the original Beat Cop game in any way. We simply share a love for gaming and wanted to honor the domain’s history while creating something useful for the community.

HOW WE MAKE MONEY
Some of our articles contain Amazon affiliate links. When you buy through these links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the site running and continue publishing free content.
That said, affiliate commissions never influence our recommendations. If a product isn’t worth your money, it won’t appear in our guides, period. Our gear reviews and tier lists are based on real testing and actual gameplay, not commission rates.
